About Nexus Mediations

Scalable Dispute Resolution for High-Volume Dockets

Nexus Mediations is a specialized firm of credentialed neutrals built efficiently service general civil litigation, uncontested divorces, and high-volume debt collection. Unlike many traditional mediators who quickly become scheduling bottlenecks, or overpriced retired judges who inflate the cost of settlement, our structure ensures we have the bandwidth to bypass county DRC waitlists and get your mediation (court-ordered or voluntary) on the calendar within days.

Our mediators do not run open-ended venting sessions. Whether we are resolving a business contract dispute, finalizing a parenting plan, or clearing a creditor docket, we approach dispute resolution as a practical, forward-looking process. Every neutral on our roster is highly trained in managing unrepresented (pro se) defendants and represented litigants alike, stripping the emotion out of the room, explaining the stark financial realities of prolonged litigation, and driving parties toward logical, executable settlements that protect everyone’s bottom line.

Leadership: Austin Allen, Managing Director

Nexus Mediations was founded by Austin Allen to solve the operational friction between law firms, everyday individuals, and backlogged court systems. Bringing over 15 years of executive business experience to the industry, Austin spent his career founding and scaling multiple enterprises, overseeing complex contract negotiations, and mitigating risk across adversarial parties. This deep business acumen translates directly to identifying the core issues in civil and family disputes and structuring durable, common-sense settlements.

As Managing Director, Austin designed the Nexus framework: a standardized, high-velocity approach to mediation that cuts the posturing and focuses on the facts. He ensures that every neutral on the Nexus team executes the same frictionless, court-compliant process.

Based in Fort Worth, Texas, Austin holds a B.S. from the University of North Texas and completed his dispute resolution credentialing through Kreider Mediation. He holds the Advanced Credentialed Mediator designation from the Texas Mediator Credentialing Association (“TMCA”), as well as the required 40-hour Basic and specialized 24-hour Family Law certifications. Under his leadership, the Nexus team provides the tactical de-escalation and strategic planning required to help individuals move forward and law firms close their files.
